Analytical Achronyms

So like, yesterday... hm...
Trying to figure out what class I blogged in yesterday. Photography, which means I had English after that. English... didn't do anything, as per usual.
Japanese... Did some work, actually. Shock, horror!
Lunchtime was pretty cool. Talking and stuff, and stuff.
Maths = boring. Just after maths, before I'd actually got out the door, Toby just randomly came past and hugged me. So I'm like, Yayness! and was all smiley and happy till I got to science, when I got all hyperactive and giggly for some reason. Hurrah! Inexplicable hyperactivity!
Anyway, stopped at the Lyons shops with Jess on the way home. Had icy pole. Yay! And then we had more icy poles, and chocolate, so more yay! And then we talked lots, which was cool. Jess is similar to me in that we both seem rather random and hyperactive and sort of immature, and say 'spleendiferous' at random moments during conversation, but once we start actually talking about sensible topics and like, clever conversation and stuff, we get all logical and clever and mature and stuff. Which is cool.
But yes. I learned my maths stuff! Everybody be proud of me! Yaaaay! Cough. Anyway, that test is at lunchtime t'day, so. I'll go over that stuff during recess.
I had to go select my classes for college just before, and I have -
English (T)
Maths Methods (T)
Drama (T)
Psychology (T)
Photography (T)
Theory of Knowledge (T .5)

The 'T' means it's tertiary. Meaning that it can lead on to university studies if I want it to. The '.5' for ToK means that I only have to go to half the normal classes, keeping the other half as free lessons. Eek, recess, shall update in photography.

Kay kays.
Recess was farly cewl. Jess remembered to give me teh mp3 moneyness, squee XD
And I kind of sort of just a little bit forgot to go over that maths stuff. But I'm just gonna hope for the best and go for it with the test.
I got my Floriade and Macro photos back, one of the Floriade ones is really good, and the other is pretty good, so, I'ma scan them when I get home. Yayness =)
Anyway, once I've done this maths test, I'm left with...
Japanese assignment
Maths assignment
English assignment
Photography essay
World Issues assignment
Maths test for the current subject
And nyes...
Nothing is currently overdue!
And I can go get my driver's licence whenever I want, now. Or whenever the parents and I have time, rather.
High school is finishing up. That's so freaky. I was sort of surprised at that realisation. And some people don't even go on to college, let alone uni. I plan to go to university. I know that whatever subject I choose to study, if I put in the effort, I'll do well enough to get to uni. It's just a matter of putting in the effort. Hm...

Anyway, half an hour to waste.

Make that twenty minutes. Grumble grumble bad roll-marking teachers and their mistakes.

You're always willing to listen
Or lend a shoulder to cry on
You're there through thick and thin
Many people consider you their "best friend"!

You and cats have a lot in common.
You're both smart and in charge - with a good amount of attitude.
However, you do have a very playful side that occasionally comes out!

Dark Purple

To others, you seem a bit dark, mysterious, and moody.
In truth, you are just a very unique person who doesn't care what others think.
And you really enjoy your offbeat interests and friends.

You Have Your Sarcastic Moments

While you're not sarcastic at all times, you definitely have a cynical edge.
In your opinion, not all people are annoying. Some are dead!
And although you do have your genuine moments, you can't help getting your zingers in.
Some people might be a little hurt by your sarcasm, but it's more likely they think you're hilarious.

You are 67% Aquarius

Anyway. Offwards with Caitlin.
Those blogthings are the bestest way to waste time. I used to have heaps on my MSN space... but like, yeah. I forgot about them, and only rediscovered them from Mel's blog. Coolnessness.

Sniffle

Urgh, god. I hab de borst gold eber.
Yeurk.
Stupid cold. I've been sick since like, Wednesday last week, and I haven't been able to breathe through my nose since Friday. Geurgh...
So like, Friday, I kind of had a bit of a breakdown at lunch, and I don't really remember anything between heading towards the front office with the idea of calling a parent and going home and suddenly realising I was at homedrinking tea and blowing my nose repeatedly. So I sort of have no idea what I did or said between then... eh.
I went down to Woden and back three times on Saturday. Eurgh, exercise. I went down once by myself to get another internet cord and collect my photos from Big W, then I went down with Mother & Connor to get my glasses fixed and buy some new sheets, and then I went down to hang out with Izzy, which was for like, two and a half hours, which involved wandering out to The Art Store and Saddle World and some beading shop in Phillip, so I got home and was like, completely dead, and then I had to try to learn this stoopid math stuff for the retest which may or may not be today but could be on Wednesday. -.-"
Sunday morning would have been really cool, cause like, there was the chance of a phone call, and then I remembered I'd organised for Mr. Neighbour to come over and explain the maths stuff to me, and I'm like, Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! and then when I finally finished that, and got back online, no one was on. And then I forgot all the maths stuff anyway when I tried to go over it before bed. Shite.
Glurg, glurg glurg ggeurglegalureljaeglrakehhleuuerealrereurhgh...
I can't breathe, gah, and my head is like, dun, dun, dun PAIN and my eyes are watering and my throat hurts cause I keep coughing and sneezing all the time. And Mother wouldn't let me stay home because that maths test may be today.

But yes, Becky called on Friday and was all apologetic for not telling me she was moving. I may or may not have forgiven her =P

And I'm a little sort of shocked from something I heard on Sunday, which I should probably not publish to the web, but chances are I'll tell most of the people I know read this about it anyway. But yes. Very odd. Rather surprising. Hm.

Anyways. Grumble grumble stupid blocked tagboard. Waaaah!! If you comment, I can read your comments, but I can't read the tagboard, so that sucks. Grr... *sneezes*
Gack.

Also! I can legally drive today! Once I get my licence, that is. I'll have to see about going down and getting it on like, the weekend, or better still, this afternoon, with a parent. Watch out peoples, Caitlin's gonna be in charge of a car =P

*sneezes*

Anyway, offwards time.

"Caution: Smoke and Strobe Will Be Used During Performance. Please Notify Staff of Any Medical Conditions."

Spleendiferous.
And so forth.

Spicks and Specks last night was hilarious, with that guy singing to the host and all. Withthe host guy lying on the piano and all. Funniness =P
So was the whole "We're totally not biased" thing at the beginning of The Glass House.
And The IT Crowd was gold. That guy who lived behind The Red Door, and the way that Jen rescued whatever-his-name-is from under the desk.

Anyway, that's my Watch ABC Now Or Die thing done.

God, the bus this morning. Egad, the horrors. The bus was kinda late, so there was this absolutely huge crowd to get on, and certain people were being really, really agressive, and Kerri-An was swearing at me and pushing me, and I told her to "Stop fucking shoving me", and Kayla goes "*high pitched voice* Stop fucking shoving me! Slut!" and like, slapped the back of my head. And on instinct, I spun around and raised my hand, and I swear, if she'd been close enough I would have hit her. I don't know why, it'd've been an overreaction, but I wouldn't even have thought about it. Meh. She was going on about "Oooh, you wanna fight me? I'll get my boyfriend to bash you up!". And I'm just thinking, "Loser...". But hey.

Anyway. Was slightly late to tutor group cause of the bus lateness, and meh.
Science involved ink pads and fingerprints. Fun-fun. Cause that took a while to wash off, I was a little late to outdoor ed. Eurgh, outdoor ed.
We went up Red Hill and Miss Atkinson was all "Bla bla bla if you don't participate I'll have to cal your mother, bla bla bla". But meh.

Recess meh. World Issues meh.

Lunchtime was pretty cool. Toby had his guitar, and was playing musix and stuffs, and there was some fight up near the basketball courts, and some of those kids at that tree near The Tree set someone's shirt on fire (not while they were wearing it), and that was cool till Louise came and put it out with her waterbottle (spoilsport). And then I poked my leg with a twig and whined, "My leg goes sploodge when I poke it.", and Toby poked it, and then like, patted it, and went "Ooh, that's so cool." and I'm like, "Huh?" and he goes "The hairlessness! And smoothness! It's so cool!", and I'm just like, "Um... ye-es... Of course it is =P" and we all ended up snickering cause it was so random.
And then I stealed Toby's hat on the way to photography, so he threw water at me, so now my shirt's wet, and then Toby decided we could share his hat, which resulted in head bumping and him ending up with the hat.

Anyway, photography is beingk boringk, and I'll have some more photos to upload from here in a few days. Also, I get $70 from Jess for my Green mp3 Player of Superness tomorrow. Hurrah for moneys.

Meh, English next. I've got to go to my locker after school and get all those lunchboxes I've kept forgetting, as well as the remnants of my umbrella, which means I have to catch a later bus, which is a good reason to catch the 546 and see Izzy.
Grumble. So apparently Becky isn't coming back now. Even though she told me she would. Adrian told Toby they weren't coming back, and Becky told Kirsten. Nobody told me. Merf...

Anyway. Offwards time.
Twootles.

(The title is from a sign shown before a performance at last year's Alfies. The performance was damn good.)

(Also, stupid school has updated filter, and I now can't see CAD, QC, C&H, or my tagbox at school. So I can't chat on my tagbox during school time anymore. Retardedness.)

Spammerisational

Recess = boring conversations about bad TV.
English = tracing over black outlines to make them thicker. Then spending the last half hour or so outside, sitting on the grass in the sunshine, drawing, and listening to music. So good.
Lunch = boring, mostly. Went to the library with Toby. Distracted him while he was trying to do his Indonesian assignment (Fun). Laughed as Alex declared Stacks-On Toby, and nobody else joined in.
Japanese. Boring.
Maths. Boring, duh. I got 5% on that test. But I have a chance to redo it early next week, giving me the weekend to learn that stuff.

I scannlified my bootiful pictureses....
Voila:

Purtifulness. Admire them.

Oh, dear...

Man, I'm bored. Soooo bored. Bored bored bored. The teacher keeps using the words 'master' and 'slave', as in the computerly meaning of the words, and it's making it rather hard not to giggle. Heh. ^-^

Merf. Um... nothing interesting, much. It's only second lesson, so. Not much's happened.
I was actually somehow on time for school this morning, despite being totally exhausted. It was raining, so I was getting an umbrella, and I decided to take the prettiful sunshiney and happy yellow one, instead of the bland and boring blue one. Bad decision on my part. I got to the bus stop, and I shook the umbrella to get the rain off before I folded it, and it snapped. The umbrella part just fell off, and I was left holding an umbrella handle and blinking. The words "What the fuck?" were what first came to mind. *shrugs* Looks like the metal was just really, really weak. Twas a cheap umbrella anyway. I want a yellow one, though, not the blue one, so I might try to get another lello one.
I have super rainbow swirly pictures, which I'll scan when I get home. I was colouring one in World Issues, and the teacher goes, "Nice picture. Very... 1970s... I remember a lot of that." I grinned at that, and she goes, "Yeah, we spent almost all our time at school drawing things like that. Er... not that I'm encouraging you to draw instead of working, of course."
Hehe.
Heh.

Anywaysness.... Yayness, I got that new music onto my iPod.
~Stay, just a little bit longer
Please, please, please, please, please
Tell your daddy you're gonna~

This song has like, Super Drummage +7. Who Loves You - 4 Seasons. 2.33 minutes into it, it has like, the best, best music, and all the way through it has what-sounds-like-talent-requiring-drumming. Not that I know anything about drums except what I hear. And I like what I hear from this song. So there, hmph =P

Anyways. Time to return to making prettiful colour'd stuffs. Shall scan and upload when I get home.
Twootles =)

"Cheap Garden Hoses" or "Why I'm no longer allowed to sing in public"

Magpies aren't generally attractive birds, but a magpies stomach is rather cute.
In fact, most birds have quite adorable tummies...
I wish I had an adorable tummy...
But not with feathers on it, that would just be weird.

I've been putting off updating this cause I have so much to catch up on... But tis best to just bite the bullet (Dear God, that sounds like some awful, awful euphemism...) and update as best I can before my fingers fall off from typing too much.

Right!
So:

Noosa:
Trip up was fairly good. Long drives in my uncle's car are always soooo much less awful than long drives in either of our cars. For one thing, my uncle's car has waaaaaaaaay better speakers, and my brother isn't there to tell us to turn off the music, and my cousin and uncle had some pretty good CDs. I'll list some of the ones I remember later, but there was a lot of jazz and some random old music. But yes. Also lots of pie-eating for breakfast.
Noosa was great, the apartment was like, huge, and it had two balconies and there was a pool and spa and the bath had those funny little spa jet things in it and the shower had one of those awesome movable type shower heads, which are awesome cause they mean I can get shampoo and conditioner out of my hair without having to like, attack it.
I completely and utterly failed at a surfing lesson, which wasn't too cool, but hey.
I ate more instant noodles in a week than anybody should ever eat in a lifetime. (Yay!)
I saw soem random relatives I haven't seen in a while - both my mother's parents (Ilma and Bob), my aunt Fiona, her son Bruno (19 or summin like that), my mother's uncle Trevor, and her brother Craig.
Bob was slightly less awkward with the conversation than he was last time I saw him, and Bruno was a hell of a lot less awkward. Also he had a Terry Pratchett book which wins him BIG bonus points. I nearly cracked up laughing cause my little cousin Hamish was being sooo annoying to Bruno, which is exactly what I did when I was seven or eight. Poor Bruno. Ah well, I sort of made up for my annoyingness back then by distracting Hamish this time. Hamish has an obsession with Doctor Who, by the way.
The people I went up with were my mother's other sister's family - Adair, Nigel, Darcy (15) and Hamish (6 or something).
We had fish and chips one night, and Aunty Adair and Darcy both got haircuts, and we went out on a boat on Saturday morning, on the river in the vague direction of Towantin, or however the hell that's spelt.
But yes, Noosa was fairly awesome.
Which reminds me. Darcy says he wants to start a boy band called Fabulous Awesome Guys, or F.A.G. for short, and write love songs about almonds, lyrics about looking into people's retinas, and a song called "You Touched My Hair Gel, Now It's Over". Bahahah.

Anyway, music we listened to:
Arctic Monkeys
Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons
The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Queen
Frank Sinatra
Some Guy Called Billy Field I'd Never Heard Of Till A Week Ago
Um... who else...
Some random band... The Eagles, or summin.
Eric Clapton
That guy who sang American Pie... Don McClean, or summin.
Lou Reed
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
The Travelling Wilburys
And...
Whoever it is that sung Mack The Knife.
[Edit: I forgot two! First one being Doris Day, second one being the almost-most-important, Van Morrison. Because the Van Morrison song was Moondance, which is one of the most utterly awesome songs ever. Take Five is another of those awesome songs, but I have no idea who it's by. Cept my cousin can play it on clarinet. Sounds awesome.]

Anyway, that be the cool musicalness we heard on the way to and from Queensland.
Also! Anna tipped me off to this awesome band, Wilco, from whom I've only actually heard one song. But it was a damn good song. Tis called 'Jesus, Etc.'.

Anyway, that be the Noosa and musical side of things done.

Since I got back:

I got back to discover that we now have a 320GB external hard drive. Yaaaaaaaaaaay!! Squeal! And I hugged it :P
Also that I now have a mini-a-tcha fridge under my desk, which I'm planning to gradually stock with Coke and chocolate. So far I have a 2L bottle of Coke. Yay =)

Which brings me to my awesome shopping trip yesterday.
I caught the Woden bus, on which I found Toby, who decided to come with me while I went to get my Coke, so that was cool. We couldn't find Woolworths, so we ended up in Big W, where I got my 2L bottle of cola-y goodness. I had forty cents change, which I gave to Toby, so he had sixty cents total, and decided to go on a quest to find a single can of Black & Gold (Non-brand-name) soft drink. Which of course he couldn't find. But by the time he gave up on that idea, we'd found Woollies and were in the confectionery aisle, where we found the Holy Milky Way Banana Whip... ™.... So. Then we wandered out to the front of Woden so Toby could catch his bus, and we found Ethan, so the three of us sat around there for a while, before their bus came and I wandered off home. It was quite fun, really.

Anyway, this morning as I was walking to school, some little tiny child shouted "Ga!" as I walked past (As you do...), and when I turned around he hugged my legs. Adorableness! Slightly random, but very cute! So that had me smiling for the rest of the day.

But yes, offwards time, mother is stealing the computer.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was trying to put the lyrics to these songs into a collapsible list so they didn't all have to appear at once and make this post really long, but the html and javascript involved killed me. My toenails, the only surviving parts of me, are typing this.
Lyrics:
Arctic Monkeys:
- Mardy Bum
- Fake Tales of San Francisco
- When the Sun Goes Down
Four Seasons:
- Ragdoll
- Big Girls Don't Cry
- December 1963
- Who Loves You
Miscellaneous (stfu about the spelling. Gr...):
- Moondance - Van Morrison
- Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
- Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps - Doris Day
There, random lyrics. And the one I almost put up but ran out of time for is More - Frank Sinatra. If you want those lyrics, Google them.
Buh byes.
Pizza Thursday, followed by a round of gratitude.
So, yesterday... Hm... If I can remember...
I remember going out walking with mother at around sunset, with Connor riding along on his little bike with his little red helmet... and then insisting that mother or I push his bike while he looked for pretty stones... and then chasing after me as I rolled off down the hill on his bike.... which was quite funny at the time... hm... indeed.
And then pizza. Pizza Thursday. Every second Thursday here is public servant payday, and as both my parents are employed by government organisations, and thus public servants, it's the one day of the fortnight when we have any money. Therefore, the day we have pizza. Every second Thursday we have pizza, and it is therefore Pizza Thursday. And on the Friday after, I have cold pizza for breakfast and/or lunch. Indeed.
Anyway, Trish came over and gave Freya and Bridie fifty dollars each for Italy, very generous of her, she did the same for me when I was going to Japan, and I bought her and Kevin a prettiful painting as thanks. So Freya and Bridie might like to also show their gratitude. Hint, hint.
Nyes... then today... and what happened of interest today, I hear my several pet voices ask? Nothing. Mother dragged me out to body balance, I nearly dieded of dehydration - I keep forgetting to bring a waterbottle... - and I heard some random song I liked the words of and so found the lyrics to and posted beneath this, I went down to Woden with mother and Connor and got a nice black hat and a sherbet ice cream from Wendy's™, and generally didn't do much...
Hm... one of those random quiz things that go round recently asked me "What are you most proud of?". Man, was that a crappy moment. What am I proud of?
Little voice number one says, "Nothing, you suck at everything".
Little voice number two says, "That isn't true, you memorised pi to 23 decimal places".
Little voice number one says, "You loser, that's nothing to be proud of, simply a matter of memorising some numbers."
Little voice number two says, "Well, I can play the piano...."
Little voice number one says, "Well I should damn well hope so, you've been trying for eight years, and you still aren't as good as you should be."
Little voice number two says, "I'm not that bad..."
Little voice number one says, "You're not good enough."
Little voice number two says, "Maybe I can be."
Little voice number one says, "Oh, I didn't just mean at piano. You're not good enough at anything. No matter how hard you try."
Little voice number three says, "I don't want to try, there's no point, I'll only fail."
Little voice number two says, "But maybe I won't, I should try, just in case I don't fail..."
Little voice number one says, "But then you'll just feel as useless and worthless as you are, and you don't want that."
Little voice number three says, "Maybe I do..."
Little voice number two is drowned out.
Little voice number one convinces little voice number three that Caitlin is completely useless.
Little voice number three curls up in a ball and cries.
Little voice number four comes in as autopilot, makes me eat and drink and get up in the morning, act like a human being, when possible...
I don't know which I am...
Whichever, I still have nothing to be proud of... I never do anything meaningful at all, and everything I do is like I have no say in it, my mind's gone completely and all I have is emotions and an autopilot. I don't get upset about specific things, but sometimes I just get these huge waves of complete misery and despair and I can't understand why. And that scares me. Sometimes I get random ups, and I feel so high, and everything gets colourful and swirls and moves quickly and happily, and I think that maybe it's okay, because I feel so good, but it isn't real happiness, there's no thought behind it, it's just like some puppeteer decides to make me act happy.
I don't know... I need somebody to help me, but I can't bear to ask, there are so few people I ever really connect with. There have been people, at times, who have helped me, hugely, who have drawn some semblance of thought out of my screwed up head. Thank you guys, chances are you know who you are. Thank you so much. And of course I won't say it to your faces, I'll probably pretend I never even wrote this, because to aknowledge it is to admit how scared I am, of me, and of my mind, and what it thinks of me...
There are three main people who I am really, really grateful to, for trying to get some logic out of me and for occasionally trusting me enough to talk to me in return. One of them, I think I've lost. Another... I don't know what he thinks of me, the way I carry on. The third, probably thinks I don't think at all, and he may be right... though I think he said I wasn't annoying... but that may have been my imagination... and he thought that he might be annoying, which isn't in the least true.
You guys, please, don't ever stop being so damn awesome. Thanks heaps for being so great to me. It really does help.
There's not really anything I can say after that... Hm...
I'll just leave these random lyrics at the bottom of the post.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eurythmics: Anything But Strong

Why do you hurt yourself?
You do it very well
You do it so politely
That you couldnt even tell
When everything has changed
You think youre not to blame
How come you keep on talking
When the whole thing feels so strange? ....

But seeing
Is not the same as believing
When everything goes wrong
Youre anything but strong

Its all bittersweet
Outside in the street
The grass is growing greener
Underneath your feet
We come and go
The deep water flows
Tiny leaves from smaller seeds
To tall trees do grow

But wanting
Is not the same thing as needing
Theres no need to pretend
You cant turn back again
And loving
Is so different to keeping
The hurting that we send
Is so difficult to mend

[hold on to the good things]
[that keep you from falling down]
[hold on to the good things]
[that keep you from falling down]

How my heart aches
More than I can take
What are we really learning
When we make the same mistakes?

Where is your hope?
Its all gone up in smoke
You used to be so funny
Now its just the same old joke

And laughing
Is so very close to crying
When theres nothing to defend
It gets you in the end
And living
Is so very close to dying
You struggle on and on
To find where you belong

Where do you belong?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And another I heard at Body Balance, though I knew it already...
Coldplay - Fix You
When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.
And after I've had my cry, I just want to say thank you once more.
If you're going to San Francisco...
Ah, today...
As mentioned earlier, no electricity till 5 o'clock, so I did various... Oh, I can't say it... but I must!... various... social things... like talk... to my family... o.o, and watch Bridie, Connor, and Hamish draw pictures... and play tether tennis, as mentioned, with random family members...
Anyway, I ended up outside after dinner, in the dark, playing tether tennis, and singing, still with flowers in my hair. Mother made me come inside because she was worried about what the neighbours will think. Is it wrong that I consider that an achievement?
I still have the flowers in my hair, hence the seemingly random blog title (Song - "If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair"), but I'm not singing anymore. Well, not outside my head I'm not. Only cause twould wake the children. And we mustn't have that. I'm not sure why we mustn't, I just felt like using that phrase.
Random songs going through my head.
At the same time.
Two REM songs, Yesterday (Beatles (duh)), three RHCP songs... Thassa bout it, at the moment, actually. Less than usual. Oh, and that random song I've been meaning to scan my guess at the music for.
Shining Happy People - REM
Shiny happy people laughing
Meet me in the crowd
People people
Throw your love around
Love me love me
Take it into town
Happy happy
Put it in the ground
Where the flowers grow
Gold and silver shine
Shiny happy people holding hands
Shiny happy people laughing
Everyone around love them, love them
Put it in your hands
Take it take it
There's no time to cry
Happy happy
Put it in your heart
Where tomorrow shines
Gold and silver shine
Shiny happy people holding hands
Shiny happy people laughing
Hey, Andy did you hear about this one?
Tell me, are you locked in the punch?
Hey Andy are you goofing on Elvis?
Hey, baby
Are we losing touch?
If you believed they put a man on the moon, man on the moon
If you believe there's nothing up my sleeve, then nothing is cool
Moses went walking with the staff of wood
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Newton got beaned by the apple good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Egypt was troubled by the horrible asp
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Mister Charles Darwin had the gall to ask
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Hey Andy did you hear about this one?
Tell me, are you locked in the punch?
Hey, Andy are you goofing on Elvis?
Hey, baby
Are you having fun?
If you believed they put a man on the moon, man on the moon
If you believe there's nothing up my sleeve, then nothing is cool
Here's a little agit for the never-believer
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Here's a little ghost for the offering
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Here's a truck stop instead of Saint Peter's
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Mister Andy Kaufman's gone wrestling (Wrestling bears)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Hey Andy did you hear about this one?
Tell me, are you locked in the punch?
Hey Andy are you goofing on Elvis, hey baby, are we losing touch?
If you believed they put a man on the moon, man on the moon
If you believe there's nothing up my sleeve, then nothing is cool
Yesterday - The Beatles
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me.
Oh, I yesterday came suddenly
Why she had to go I don't know she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Why she had to go I don't know she wouldn't say
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday
Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm
The Zephyr Song - The Red Hot Chili Peppers
Can I get your hand to write on
Just a piece of lead to bite on
What a night to fly my kite on
Do you want to flash your light on
Take a look its on display - for you
Coming down no not today
Did you meet your fortune teller
Get it off with no propellor
Do it up its always stellar
What a way to finally smell her
Pick it up its not to strong - for you
Take a piece and pass it on
Fly away on my zephyr
I feel it more then ever
And in this perfect weather
We'll find a place together
Fly on my wing
Riddlin on liberator
Find a way to be a skater
Rev it up to levitator
Super mainly aviator
Take a look its on display - for you
Coming down no not today
Fly away on my zephyr
I feel it more then ever
And in this perfect weather
We'll find a place together
In the water where the scent of my emotion
All the world will pass me by
Fly away on my zephyr
We'll find a place together
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa - do you
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa - want to
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Fly away on my zephyr
I feel it more then ever
And in this perfect weather
We'lace together
In the water where the scent of my emotion
All the world will pass me by
Fly away on my zephyr
We're gonna live forever
Forever
By the Way - The Red Hot Chili Peppers
Standing in line
To see the show tonight
And theres a light on
Heavy glow
By the way I tried to say
I'd be there... waiting for
Dani the girl
Is singing songs to me
Beneath the marquee... overload
Steak knife card shark
Con job boot cut
Skin that flick
Shes such a little dj
Get there quick
By street but not the freeway
Turn that trick
To make a little leeway
Beat that nic
But not the way that we play
Dog town blood bath
Rib cage soft tail
Standing in line
To see the show tonight
And there's a light on
Heavy glow
By the way I tried to say
I'd be there... waiting for
Black jack dope dick
Pawn shop quick pick
Kiss that dyke
I know you want to hold one
Not on strike
But I'm about to bowl one
Bite that mic
I know you never stole one
Girls that like
A story so I told one
Song bird main line
Cash back hard top
Standing in line
To see the show tonight
And there's a light on
Heavy glow
By the way I tried to say
I'd be there... waiting for
Dani the girl
Is singing songs to me
Beneath the marquee... oversold
By the way I tried to say
I'd be there... waiting for
Standing in line
To see the show tonight
And theres a light on
Heavy glow
By the way I tried to say
I'd be there... waiting for
Dani the girl
Is singing songs to me
Beneath the marquee... oversold
By the way I tried to say
I know you
From before
Standing in line
To see the show tonight
And theres a light on
Heavy glow
By the way I tried to say
I'd be there... waiting for
Scar Tissue - The Red Hot Chili Peppers
Scar tissue that I wish you saw
Sarcastic mister know-it-all
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause
With the birds I'll share
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view
Push me up against the wall
Young Kentucky girl in a push-up bra
Fallin all over myself
To lick your heart and taste your health cause
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view...
Blood loss in a bathroom stall
Southern girl with a scarlet drawl
Wave goodbye to ma and pa cause
With the birds I'll share
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view
Soft spoken with a broken jaw
Step outside but not to brawl
Autumn sweet we call it fall
I'll make it to the moon if I have to crawl and
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view...
Scar tissue that I wish you saw
Sarcastic mister know-it-all
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you cause
With the birds I'll share
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view
With the birds I'll share
This lonely view...
Some of the lyrics are a little... well, incorrect, but hey. I just stole them off various lyrics sites. I have my own copies typed up, with what I believe to be the correct lyrics, but they're on the laptop, not the mac. So. They're close enough to give an idea of what I'm listening to.
Anyways, offwards be the Caitlin. Twootle-oo.
Sweet monkey potato spleen! Anything but that!
Two words:
Power outtage.
You have no idea how that messes with my head.
Up till five o'clock I've had to find un-electric ways to entertain myself.
Sweet fuck, man, I ended up sitting outside in the sun, with flowers in my hair... o.O
Anyway... played a lot of tether tennis, listened to some music, on my iPod, cause Bridie went and used all the goddamned laptop batteries by leaving it turned on... stupid girl...
Bah.
Result of five minutes worth of boredom this morning:
The piece of paper that got muntilated into that scribble was my school calendar... heh.
I like Aeroplane Jelly™, Aeroplane Jelly™ for me!
Some randomness I found amusing, and felt the need to quote:
"Words to Live by...
As I let go of my shoulds and feelings of guilt, I can
get in touch with my Inner Sociopath.
I have the power to channel my imagination into
ever-soaring levels of suspicion and paranoia.
I assume full responsibility for my actions, except
the ones that are someone else's fault.
I no longer need to punish, deceive or compromise myself.
Unless, of course, I want to stay employed.
In some cultures what I do would be considered normal.
Having control over myself is nearly as good as having
control over others.
My intuition nearly makes up for my lack of good
judgement.
I can change any thought that hurts into a reality that
hurts even more.
I honor my personality flaws, for without them I would
have no personality at all.
Joan of Arc heard voices too.
I am grateful that I am not as judgmental as all those
censorious, self-righteous people around me."
Indeed. Hehe. Anyway, I shall most probably bloggerise this post later,
when I escape the horror that is parental socialness by running away upstairs.
~~~~~~~
Later (7.50pm):
Über boredom has led me to waste time on the crappest dollmaker I've ever
seen, resulting in this random girly:

Dollwizard: Make your own custom dolls!

[Edit: This doesn't seem to be showing up. Could be my computer, but if not, here be'eth a screenshot:]
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

I would not really reccommend it, but it's a way to pass time.

And the result of using the anime dollmaker - slightly better, but still, rather random:

Dollwizard: Make your own custom dolls!

I see. And how does this make you feel?

It's hard to believe that
There's nobody out there
It's hard to believe
That I'm all alone
At least I have her love
The city she loves me
Lonely as I am
Together we cry
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sigh. Sleepy.
Ooh, that burp tasted like stir fry.
Sorry, that was rather random.
Mm... got out of bed at some obscenely early hour this morning... ten-thirty or something like it... only got up cause the aunt, uncle, and small cousin were here, and I felt like saying hi. So we all sat around and talked, and Nigel played piano, and Adair and mother discussed the proposed pool at the Hardingses... blerf.
Sat around online, then, horror of horrors, I actually went outside.
Seriously.
I went outside.
Shock.
Not possible!
But I did.
Shock.
Gasp.
Amazement.
Hiccup.
But yes, I went outside, and I played tether tennis for a while, which I haven't done since... since like, March... or April, maybe... seems like a long time ago. After entertaining myself with the mindlessness and aggression I can put into hitting a tennis ball on a string, I went and lay on the trampoline. And just appreciated stuff. Canberra's a beautiful place, when I'm not too absorbed in the meaningless goings on of my small mind to see it. There was the most, totally calm weather today, it was so nice to just go lie outside and just see things, and watch the sky. There were clouds, but the sky was blue, somehow. The clouds were so thin I could see straight through them, so the sky still looked blue. And it was warm, but not the kind of warm where you can fry eggs on slippery-dips. It was nice.
But yeah.
Before I went all random and outsidey, I got Under the Bridge and the Zephyr Song off of LimeWire, slowly, carefully, and somehow without freezing my computer...
So now I keep listening to them.
I need to be able to play the introduction to Under the Bridge. I don't care that I can't really play guitar, I'll get somebody to teach me. I don't care that I don't actually have a guitar, I'll borrow one. That intro is just perfectly matching my mood right now. And it's so hard to find music I can play that matches my moods...
I need more piano music, everything I'm playing I've either played a million times already or just don't feel like playing. Mlerf.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sometimes I feel like
I don't have a partner
Sometimes I feel
Like my only friend
Is the city I live in
The city of angels
Lonely as I am
Together we cry

I drive through her streets cause
She's my companion
I walk through her hills
Cause she knows who I am
She sees my good deeds and
She kisses them windy
And I never worry
Now that is a lie

I don't ever want to feel
Like I did that day
Take me to the place I love
Take me all the way
I don't ever want to feel
Like I did that day
Take me to the place I love
Take me all the way

It's hard to believe that
There's nobody out there
It's hard to believe
That I'm all alone
At least I have her love
This city she loves me
Lonely as I am
Together we cry

I don't ever want to feel
Like I did that day
Take me to the place I love
Take me all the way
I don't ever want to feel
Like I did that day
Take me to the place I love
Take me all the way

Under the bridge downtown
Is where I drew some blood
Under the bridge downtown
I could not get enough
Under the bridge downtown
Oh god hold back my love
Under the bridge downtown
I gave my life away

Oh. My. God. Did you see that guy's shorts?!

So yeah, I rolled out of bed today at about twelve, got dressed and un-half-dead-looking on the way downstairs, grabbed my camera, and we were off to Floríade before I was even really awake.
So we were wandered off to Commonwealth Park, and had a picnic at the playground outside Floríade, met up with Adair & co. and meandered into the land of headache-inducing flowers. We hadn't gotten very far before we came across some random band, from Melbourne or something, I think. I didn't quite catch the name, but it was something like Bomba. The sort of band that always seems to turn up at folk festivals and community events. Pretty good, and dang the bassist was hot. They actually managed to get about 1/3 of the crowd hanging around up and dancing during the last song, which, if you know Canberra as the conservative city full of public servants that it is, you'd understand is a pretty amazing feat. The singer guy seemed a bit... uh... 'dazed', at the cotton floating around. It's like, cotton from the trees, and he kepting asking, "Y'know, like, what is this stuff?!" and eventually he got the idea that it was 'silk pollen'...?? But yeah, Aunty Adair dragged me down to the front to dance, so. Then I was all dehydratificationed, so we wandered off to get an ice block and look around the Steve Parish exhibition.
After we came out of that, Aunt, Uncle and I sat around to watch this performance thing, while the parents and the littlies went on the ferris wheel. So Nigel went off to watch from further back, and Adair and I were sitting up the front, and this guy in the most tiny, tiny shorts got this mini trampoline, then lined up a few people, putting a toy kangaroo on the guy at the back's head, and cleard a way through the circle of people. So he went back twenty steps through the gap, told the woman at the front of the line of people to lean back or she'd 'get a mouthful of... uh, nevermind', ran, bounced on the trampoline, and flipped over the people, grabbing the kangaroo as he did so. And of course the audience was appropriately amazed, even though it wasn't that difficult a trick, because the guy was a good showy person. Good at entertaining people. And of course, everyone thirteen and over was cackling at the crude jokes he was making about the shorts, while all the little children sat and blinked in their confused little way. But yes.

So yeah, got back here, and watched some youtube thing of Under The Bridge... as follows:

Which was randomness, cause I had Under the Bridge stuck in my head earlier, and I wanted to listen to it. Heh, the guitaristy guy, think his name's John something starting with F, is so cute! And don'tcha just love Flea's rainbowfied bass? And the audience sings long, how sweet is that? Hehe.

I also saw the youtube of some live performance of Give It Away, also as follows:

Dude, Anthony-singer-guy: Blond hair, not cool.
Dude, Flea-bass-guy: No clothes, even less cool. o.O
Whoever edited it: Goddamned blurring! Not cool at all! *stab*

Hehe.

And The Zephyr Song! Perhaps the only RHCP song I've found that sounds really good as a live recording. Love this song.

Awesomeness. I've noticed that the guitar is a lot better in these older songs than in the new ones, and it also plays a larger role, in the newest album, most of the songs, losing the guitar wouldn't make them worse, some of the songs, you wouldn't even notice. But hey. Here be'eth RHCP. Enjoy.

Brave Sir Robin

Having had this song wandering lazily through my head quite often recently, due to several various things triggering memories of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, I felt like posting the words.

As Sir Robin sets off on his quest for... whatever it was, he is accompanied by a troup of bards, engaged to commit to history the brave deeds of Sir Robin.
Their tales are as follows:

"Bravely bold Sir Robin
Rode forth from Camelot
He was not afraid to die, oh brave Sir Robin
He was not in the least afraid to be killed in nasty ways
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Robin
He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp
Or to have his eyes gouged out, and his elbow broken
To have his kneecaps split, and his body burned away
And his limbs all hacked and mangled, brav Sir Robin
His head smashed in and his heart cut out and
His liver removed and his bowels unplugged and
His nostrils raped and his bottom burnt off and
His penis-"
Here the minstrels are cut off by an understandably upset Sir Robin with the words (something along the lines of) "Right, right, I think that's enough music for now" . After a while, they continue, quietly at first.
"He is brave Sir Robin, brave Sir Robin who..."
"To fight and..."
Around about here, Robin and his minstrels encounter a three headed... ogre, or something. The three heads disagree with themselves for a while, possibly about how to kill Sir Robin (I haven't seen the movie in a while, I don't quite remember), and as they argue, Robin... retreats. Bravely.
"Brave Sir Robin ran away
Bravely ran away, away
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out
Bravely taking to his feet, he beat
a very brave retreat, bravest of the brave, Sir Robin"
Again they are interrupted by a disagreeing Sir Robin... and again they continue.
"He is packing it in, and packing it up
And sneaking away and buggering up
And chickening out and pissing off home
Yes bravely he is throwing in the sponge"
And the last verse is interspersed with indignant shouts from 'brave' Sir Robin of "I didn't! I never did! It's all lies!".

Nasal Llamas

Wheee... boredom...
Randomly got the early bus this morning...boring.
There were only 7 people in outdoor ed, so we joined the PE class and played some random game. Boring.
World issues also only had seven people. Watched movie. Boring.
Nobody there at recess, so I sat around and ate and listened to music. Boring.
Photography, we're watching some random really, really crappy movie, that looks like it was made by a couple of twelve year olds. It sucks. Really badly.
But yes, amusemental incident before world issues, Ryan was being stupid, hanging around outside his maths class, he's like, "*nerd voice* I can't get in, I'm only a level four spellcaster and that door has a level five shield on it. *snort*", and Miss Random Math Teacher's like, "Yeah, and you're being a level six dumbass", and everybody laughed. Ryan deserves to be laughed at. There's a perfectly good reason for that judgement, which I don't feel like sharing with y'all.

Bah, stoopid computer won't let me upload all my photography pics. Darned internet blocking thingy... ah, well. Anyways... Man, I'm bored. Oh, tis 12:34. Hehe. Two days in a row I've seen that. Yay.

Wow, I'm easily amused.

Sweet monkey potatoes, this movie sucks! It is sooo crap... and sooooo boring... meh... I have nothing at all to do...
Oh, they were playing Red Hot Chili Peppers in outdoor ed. Yay! I think it was the "What Hits?" album, It had Otherside, Under the Bridge, Suck My Kiss, and another couple I didn't recognise... I want that album. I wanted to get Under the Bridge, but Limewire was being tardified. I'ma try get a few songs this afternoon, though... meh...
Tired. Bored. Couldn't get online last night, the internet wouldn't work.
Mehff... Five minutes of class left. I'm off... Bye byes.

[Continufication]
Yay, English = four people, and a computer lab... with damn good speakers. So the teacher's sitting round marking essay things, I'm bloggifying, again, and Michael's plugged some random thing into the speakers... Scissor Sisters apparently. 'salright. Speakers are awesome. As mentioned earlier. I can't believe my school would actually buy good speakers... normally they're like, uber cheap over everything, but like... cewl, cewl, cewl, music. So yeah, first fifteen minutes of lunch was pretty boring, but then Jared came over, so I talked to him for the rest of lunch, which was pretty interesting. Yasmin's right in that he is a little odd, but he's pretty cool anyway. Clever 'n all. And funny. But definitely odd. But nyes. I like most people, provided they're clever and funny. That's basically the only two things I want from people. Amusement and clever discussion. Oddness always scores extra points, as does being nice to me and mean to people I dislike =P
Anyway... de de dee.... this music's fairly alright... it's good for listening to, and the speakers make everything awesome.
Meh, offwards with me. *waves*

195. My shoe size is: 9

194. My ring size is: 7 (I had a mood ring once... it said '7' on the inside, and the bigger one said '8' and the smaller one said '6', so I'm assuming that's the size...)

189. The last book I read: Dane's answer was "Terry Pratchett, Pyramids.". Just randomly - I read that book a month or so ago! Coinkidinkness. Good book, too. Last book I read was George Orwell's Animal Farm.

188. My bed is: A king single size with a single mattress. That has always, always pissed me off. Cause my mattress slides, being shorter than the bed and all, which irritates me. My bed is also: scribbled on. Heh... -.-"

187: One thing you hate about yourself: How much I annoy myself?

179. My favorite holiday is: Spleen Day. Pfft, holidays, school, either way, I don't notice anything that's going on. Probably the summer holidays, though. Cause they have Christmas and my birthday.

141. Luck? For some reason, yeah, I guess.

140. Fate? Pfft, no. Things happen because of other things happening. Cause and effect. Not some pffty big plan thingy.

139. Yourself? No, not really.

138. Aliens? Maybe... not necessarily that aliens have visited earth or anything, but like... the universe is huge. It's not like earth would be the only planet in the whole universe with any living things on it.

136. Hell? Nuh uh

134. Horoscopes? Nope, but I read them. Then again, I read everything. Cereal boxes and jam jar labels can be quite amusing...

116. Abortion: *attempts not to rant and rave* Give people the right to choice. If someone's life is going to be crap because their parents didn't want them, or can't afford to look after them, abortion might just be the best thing to do. And nobody's legally saying that you *have* to have an abortion. Whereas anti-abortionist people are basically saying it should be illegal, which takes away the whole choice thing. Choice over something as life-changing, or even life-ending, as that should be a basic right.

115. Backstabbers: Spleen-stabbers are better.

114. Parents: Source of food and money. But seriously, they're great. I mean, yeah, I'll disagree witht hem sometimes, but like... I wuvz my mummy and daddy. They look after me, and treat me as an equal, and they're great people.

21. The all-time best thing in the world is: Pocky.

18. The most annoying person you know is: Me. Yay!

17. I lose all respect for people who: Are ignorant, and wouldn't have it any other way. People who are constantly hypocritical, or discriminatory... or like crappy music, or act exactly the same as everybody else in their group, use the word 'like' even more than I do, dye their hair so it matches their favourite outfit or their friend's hair... pfft.
